Introducing 23 Watts

23Watts is a Twin City-based four-piece alt-rock band founded by guitarist and singer/songwriter Jeff Lemiesz, who shares lead and rhythm guitar duties with Tim Dempsey.  A rhythm section that consists of bassist Shamus Greger and Bill Strohm on drums rounds out the lineup.  Together they deliver an eclectic mix of original material from multiple genres. While 23Watts’  music is completely their own, stylistically, it is not without the trace of influence.  Artists like Cheap Trick, Gov’t Mule, Neil Young, Pixies and Wilco, among others, have all undeniably contributed to their sound as a whole.  23Watts aims to establish their brand of “all-purpose rock ‘n roll” in the Twin Cities and beyond.
